I have been a knitter since my teen years with the help and encouragement of a dear family friend who saw that I was not finishing my projects. Since then, it has been a pleasure and joy to knit and crochet and cross-stitch my endeavors to completion. This blog is in memory of Mother Ruffin, my adopted grandmother, who knitted many a sweater and crocheted loads of afghans for family and friends with lots of love.  Hopefully, I will be able to continue her legacy.
