Shawl Knitting Pattern – How to Make a Ribbed Piece
This shawl knitting pattern is a basic rectangle pattern which you can modify to any pattern stitch or size you want. There are lots of basic shapes for shawls and wraps, but most people start out with a rectangle. However, just because you choose to make a piece with a basic shape doesn’t mean that it’s boring.
This shawl is a simple, nice and stretchy addition to your wardrobe. You can make one with a colored or multicolored yarn and a nice pattern with a lot of stretch. I recommend using a cotton blend as it’s flexible enough to be used for casual or fancy occasions. The ribbon running through the piece makes it interesting to look at and fun to wear.
